Landscape With Repose

Greetings—

I need ... I want
I see ... I feel
I care ... I weep
I ache for boundless ecstasy
My body whimpers with the abandonment
Of weariness
My journey
Both of body and of soul
Has been long and shrouded
In sorrow
I divine the evil and goodness
Of a rebirth
From the death of my love
So long past
Yet like yesterday it seems
I must find repose
Rest
Ah ... there
Upon my right up ahead
I may now pause
And reflect upon the sadness
Which seems I will carry
For yet a few miles further
Before I carry on
Yet again

Love the image, my Friend, but your poem seems so sad; knowing the situation but understanding thought process...

I just LOVE this shot, Gareth, it very well may be one of my favorites of yours. Love the gentle path that leads us through the frame, and that bench is just so FULL of character! Great shot!
